On January 31, 2014, 20 international teachers from 20 different countries arrived on GMU campus to participate in a six-week professional development program including an internship at an area public school. Dr. Farnoosh Shahrokhi received the 2014 Teaching Excellence and Achievement Program (TEA); funded by the Department of State’s Education and Cultural Affairs Bureau.The grant is a result of longtime collaboration between the EDLE Program and Center for International Education under the leadership of Dr. Beverly Shaklee.
