Larry Snitzler, 71, who has taught classical guitar at George Mason University for 41 years as an adjunct professor, is retiring at the end of this semester. He and his wife, Soledad, will live in her native, Santiago, Chile, where he will complete his book on Spanish composer Joaquim Malats, write music and continue playing in the United States and Europe.
